I am so excited to announce our plans for a youth missions trip to Ciudad Victoria, Mexico this summer from July 5 – 14, 2008. We have a team of 13 teenagers* and 6 adults who will be partnering with BIC missionaries Mike and Lori Cassel and ministering to the people in Victoria through:
· Vacation Bible School for community children
· Street/Park evangelism
· Soccer (futbol)/Sports Camp
· Joining the local church and church-plant in worship
· Assisting the churches, pastors and missionaries with other projects
* Also, there is an additional teenager who has committed to be a part of our team but is unable to travel to Mexico with us due to scheduling conflicts. They have a desire and a heart to partner with us in ministry. They are fully a part of our team, attending all meetings and training sessions and will intercede for the rest of the team in prayer while we are in Mexico.
Our desire is to partner with Mike and Lori and the local Brethren in Christ churches in Ciudad Victoria to help bring new people from the community into the church where the church can minister long after we leave Mexico. Our prayer is that God would use us to introduce many people to the wonderful saving grace of Jesus Christ by serving according to 1 Peter 4: 10, Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.

I can't wait for this trip. I know it will be totally awesome and i really want to help out with the kids and whatever we are gonna do. I encourage everyone to keep praying that God will use you down in Mexico and keep doing devotions to grow closer to Him.
This trip will be a blast if we all work together to help out. If we have fun then all the mexican kids will have fun too.
Have an awesome trip everyone!!
We are excited for all of you as you begin your ministry journey tomorrow. We will be praying for safe travels and also while you are in Mexico. Allow God to use you in ways that are way beyond you.
Love and prayers, John and Rosene
