Amazing Trip

Hey Everyone!
First of all I want to thank you all for your prayer and support. Today has been a very good day. We had our very first kids' club this morning at Principe de Paz Church. We painted faces, colored pictures with the kids, and made balloon hats and animals for them in the beginning. Then we went into some testimonies, songs, and skits. We had a great turn out considering all the rain that we've been having. It's been so rainy that there are like streams flowing through the streets! We actually had to cancel our kids' club that we were planning for tonight at the other church because the water in some spots is over a foot deep. We didn't really want to have to pull the van out of the mud again. But God has used the time in place of the kids' club for our team to continue to bond and we have been using a good amount of it in worship and prayer. We will do more planning tonight for the rest of this week. Thanks again for all of your prayers. God is definitely moving in this place. (and yes, mom, we're all doing great! Love you!)
Blessings,
Aubrey

You are an amazing group of young people serving an amazing God! Thank you to each one of you for your sensitivity and obedience to Him! Several days before the trip began, I was praying for the team and the Lord impressed upon me these words from Isaiah 55: 10-11:
"As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower
and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
Now, in light of the abundance of "water" you all are experiencing there in Ciudad Victoria, the opening verses of this chapter also speak loudly. In my Bible, the chapter is entitled: "Invitation to the Thirsty" and begins as follows:
"Come, all you who are thirsty,
come to the waters;
and you who have no money,
come, buy and and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without cost."
Isaiah 55:1

Amazing words for an amazing trip. My prayers will continue with you for many amazing appointments ordained by Him.
My love and blessings for all of you--and especially for my sweethearts, Kevin, Ian, and Aubs ♡
